What does the group do outside of the website?
We participate in local school events by providing equipment and materials for anime clubs. In addition, we work on small projects, such as amateur filming or costume building.
Can I join the group or volunteer in your upcoming events and projects?
You can apply to become a member of our group by contacting us. You can ask for the details by e-mailing us through the 'Contact Us' page. In order to participate or volunteer in upcoming events and projects, you must live within the Bay Area of California. If you do live within the area, please request additional information via the 'Contact Us' page. Although you do not need to live within the area to join the Anime Market as a staff reviewer, it is preferred.
Will you guys ever tell us your personal information?
In order for us to avoid strange people both in virtual and the real world, we prefer not to give out any more specifics than already given in the 'About Us' page.
Can we personally talk to any members of the group ?
Yes you can. In the 'About Us' page, you can find the personal e-mail of each member. Unlike the contact form or review form, there is no page that allows you to send your message to the members through the website. You will have to contact them through your own e-mail provider.
Why did you remove some of the old features in the website?
Most, if not all of the features that were removed from the website had little popularity among our viewers, and they had little to do with the group's specialty and main purpose.
Will the old features ever come back?
Most likely not.
Where is the music player?
If you look at the menu, you will see an image that looks like a speaker. Click on the image, and the music player will pop up as a new window.
Can I request a song for the next music player update?
Yes. You can request any anime-related song by sending a suggestion through the contact form, which is available in the 'Contact Us' page. Although we will accept requests, it is not guaranteed that we will include all of them into the music player since we limit the playlist to ten songs, and update the list every once a week.
How do I contact you about an error on the website?
Please use the contact form in the 'Contact Us' to report any errors on the website.
How do I post my own review?
Most, if not all webpages should have an image on the right side of the page. By clicking on the image, you should be directed to a page with information regarding how to post your own review.
Can I still edit my review after it has been posted into the website?
Yes. You should post your edited review in the same way you posted your previous one. Be sure to fill in all the necessary information including a note stating the review you are posting is an edited version. The Anime Market will make the necessary updates to the review.
Why are you limiting each anime to only ten reviews?
Since some anime are more popular than others and visa versa, it is much more practical to restrict ten reviews per each anime.
Is there a limit as to how many reviews I can post?
You can post as many reviews as you like. The only restriction is that you can only post a review for every one anime series, orginal anime videos, movies, etc. In addition, there must be a review slot left. If all seven spots are taken, you are out of luck.
Why are the reviews limited to only seven reviews for non-staff members and three for staff members?
As stated before, each anime is limited to ten reviews. In order to have the staff members to have a chance to review all anime, three spots are reserved for them, while seven spots are reserved for the reivews of the first seven non-staff members.
If my review is better than one of the seven reviews already posted for an anime, can you replace it with mine?
No. If an anime has seven reviews from non-staff members, then no more reviews will be posted for that specific anime. In other words, first come, first serve.
